Passivations
In order to give zinc or cadmium layers, aluminium and its alloys as well as die-cast zinc (Zamak) and hot-dip galvanised material the required corrosion protection, passivations are necessary.
Proseal
Under the trademark PROSEAL we offer a wide range of passivations which contain besides other components, either trivalent chromates [Cr3+] or hexavalent chromium salts [Cr6+]. They produce coatings of different colours with varying corrosion protection and are suitable for rack or barrel applications.
With our PROSEAL passivations we meet all requirements of the standards of the automotive industry. It goes without saying that cobalt-free passivations are also included in our product portfolio.
Our PROSEAL-Series consists of two types: XZ (cobalt-containing) and CF (cobalt-free).
