Our new phosphate coating produces a homogeneous, finely crystalline zinc phosphate coating on steel surfaces. This phosphate coating contains, apart from zinc phosphate, other metal phosphates, but no nickel. Hense it is unnecessary to be marked as toxic or hazardous to health.
SURFACOTE 222/223 is an excellent primer for subsequent paint and powder coatings. Very high corrosion protection and paint adhesion values are achieved. Our process can be used both for spraying and dipping. SURFACOTE 222 is used for a new bath make-up, while SURFACOTE 223 is applied for bath replenishing. Accelerators are separately metered depening on the throughput in production.
