REACH: Use of substances subject to authorisation (Annex XIV)

According to Article 66 of the REACH Regulation, you as a downstream user are obliged to notify the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) of the use of a substance subject to authorisation that has been granted to an applicant in the supply chain.

The notification to ECHA must be made within three months after the substance or mixture was first obtained by you. This obligation applies after the publication of the authorisation decision in the Official Journal. This notification to ECHA is the sole responsibility of the user and cannot be done via the supplier.

The authorisation numbers for our products containing chromium(VI) are included in the safety data sheets we provide. In addition, they are also indicated on the label of the substance or mixture. If you continue to use our products containing chromium(VI), you must comply with the approval conditions described in the exposure scenarios we provide.
